Dr. Teresa Irwin is a board-certified physician in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She is among just 2,000 board-certified FPMRS physicians in the country, and the only one between San Antonio, TX and Austin, TX.

Dr. Teresa Irwin is a board-certified physician in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She is among just 1,500 board-certified FPMRS physicians in the country, and the only one between San Antonio and Austin, TX. Dr. Irwin received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Dr. Irwin completed training at Intuitive Surgical, Inc. to be a robotic gynecologic surgeon proctor and trains doctors to use the robotic tools as well. She also served as the pro bono medical director of Hays County’s Women’s Health Program and Family Planning Services for more than a decade. When not in the office, Dr. Irwin enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Richard Laue, three sons, and granddaughter.
