At ACT we use a topical numbing agent before treatment to relieve some of the procedure discomfort. The filler itself may also include lidocaine which numbs on contact. Any discomfort should be mild where you may feel a pinch or sting in some of the more sensitive areas of the face. Ice may also be used before and after the treatment. The full treatment can last anywhere between 45 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes depending on desired location.
